to Habitat for Humanity!
We
are happy that you and your family are interested in joining Habitat as
a partner in our worldwide mission to provide simple, decent and affordable
housing. If your family is selected for a Habitat house, the time and
effort you contribute in partnership with our volunteers and donors will
result in a home that you have helped build. It will also help our expanding
work all over the world. The house will belong to you; but the work is
shared by all of us. You are a part of a group of people building Habitat
homes around the world.
Habitat
for Humanity affiliate offices have built over 160,000 houses in 92 countries
since 1976. You may have seen photos of former United States President
Jimmy Carter and his wife working on Habitat houses. They are among the
thousands of Habitat volunteers worldwide.
